FKK Weiss 2022 (1 Liter)
From the bottle pours a hazy, pale yellow wine that looks like Makgeolli. The first impression on the nose is a sweet and musky odor reminiscent of ethylene gas from ripening fruits at a fruit stand. A second whiff reveals savory notes of woody herbs and sesame. A third opens up summery fruit notes of pear, lime, peach, and pineapple.
On the palate, it's a rush of juicy and tart grapefruit and peach, with a tinge of bitter pith. The wine has a fresh energy about it, as expected from the varietals in this blend. Medium tannins, dry, with a clean finish-- it's as drinkable as piña colada on a hot summer day.
The FKK series was made for parties that don't intend to end early. This line boasts rough and unrefined wine with lots of personality.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Winemaking: Scheurebe, Weißburgunder, and Huxelrebe 3 weeks on the skin. Pinot Gris and Ortega whole cluster pressing. Spontaneously fermented. The wine matured in fiberglass tanks and received 15 mg/l of sulphur right before bottling.
