Auksinis’ means Golden in Lithuanian. Manually-harvested from 60-year-old vines of Sauvignon Blanc from a 1 ha plot on clay-limestone soil. The grapes are harvested late in midOctober ripe with 50% botrytis. 3 months of fermentation in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation followed by 2 years aging in old barrels on lees. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with no sulphur added. 13% abv.
